Kristin Thomsen: I currently teach 6th grade using iPods and iPads in a 1:1 classroom. In 2011 I was a Saddleback Valley Unified School District Teacher of the Year, and that same year was awarded Apple’s Distinguished Educator Class of 2011. It’s a great honor to be recognized by these two organizations for my work with using the iPod Touch in the classroom. I live in beautiful San Clemente, California with my l husband, son, and our boxer, Cuba.
